What a fantastic day we had at York Pride!
We were proud to join thousands of people from York and beyond in celebrate
diversity, inclusion, and the vibrant LGBTQ+ community. From taking part in the
parade to welcoming visitors at our stall, the day was filled with colour,
conversation and community spirit.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us, picked up one of our
freebies, or shared their stories and experiences. It was wonderful to meet so
many residents, colleagues, partners and local organisations who care about
creating a more inclusive York.
York Pride is a powerful reminder of why creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive
communities matters. We believe everyone deserves a place where they feel
respected, valued, and able to be themselves. That's why we're committed to
creating communities where LGBTQ+ residents and colleagues
feel safe, supported and able to feel at home.
As a signatory of the LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge, we're committed to promoting
equality and inclusion in everything we do. Taking part in events like York Pride
gives us the opportunity to listen, learn and celebrate alongside the
communities we serve.

The day was filled with positivity, connection and celebration, and we're
incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success. A special
thank you goes to the York Pride organisers and volunteers, whose hard work
and dedication made the event possible.
