Residents came together on Saturday 28 June to celebrate Pride with an afternoon of music, laughter, and connection.
The event featured fantastic live music from Caitlin Black, along with fun activities including Irish bingo, a quiz, and a raffle. The bar team — Josh Evans, Emma Watson, and Aaliyah Crick with help from Natalie Proffitt, added an extra splash of colour with a photo corner complete with props and a temporary- tattoo station, which proved very popular!
Residents shared great feedback about the event:
"A nice, relaxing afternoon, which was very jolly and fun."
"A lot better than sitting at home – they should do more evenings like this in the bar."
This celebration was part of our recognition of Pride Month, a time to honour the LGBTQ+ community and promote inclusion, visibility, and joy.
