Olive Lodge Care Home and Phillips Court cottages come together to create an integrated care community in the village of Horsforth, a short drive from Leeds city centre.
Accommodation at Olive Lodge
There are a number of care suite sizes to choose from at Olive Lodge. All suites have level-access en suite wet rooms, and access to either a balcony or patio a view of the communal garden.
Phillips Close cottages
Phillips Close cottages are just around the corner from Olive Lodge. There are ten 2 bedroom cottages, each with its own private garden.
The cottages are modern and spacious and have been designed to meet the national Lifetime Homes standard, which means they are flexible to changing personal needs.
Communal facilities at Olive Lodge
All residents have access to:
- a dining room
- a comfortable lounge
- the conservatory
- hairdressing facilities
- landscaped gardens
We provide free WiFi for residents to use in all communal areas. There are several small kitchenettes areas available for residents to use whenever they like.
Care and support at Bedford Court
Our dedicated on-site carers support residents Olive Lodge and Phillips Close on a 24/7 basis. Residents also have access to specialist equipment to help them be as independent as possible, including hoists and assisted bathrooms.
Olive Lodge is a purpose-built residential care home that’s registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care. This means it’s subject to regulatory inspections.
Each cottage in Phillips Close features a 24-hour emergency call system linking them to Olive Lodge for emergency support. However, residents of Phillips Close who need ongoing care must seek support through social services. The emergency response is not a CQC registered service.
Social activities and travel
We have a full activity programme which is updated weekly.
Visitors and guests
We are fully open to visitors and there are no restrictions on time, we do ask that visitors wear a mask in communal areas. If a resident has Covid or we are in outbreak then it is the nominated visitor that can only visit.
