St Ellens Court in Beverley is a small Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust sheltered housing community of one and two bedroom flats with communal gardens.


St Ellens Court is on Eastgate in the market town of Beverley (HU17 0HH) close the bus and rail stations and within easy walking distance of the town centre. It has views of Beverley Minster.


St Ellens Court is made up of 23 self-contained two bedroom flats and four self-contained one bedroom flats on first and second floors, which can be reached by a lift. They are designed to enable residents to live independently in a safe, inclusive environment. The scheme is supported by a government grant of 30% which enables purchasers to acquire 70% interest in the value of a property on a 60 year leasehold for the elderly scheme.

Communal facilities and services

Communal facilities include a community room and laundry for which residents pay a service charge. The scheme has a resident scheme manager, and flats are linked via intercom to Beverley Borough Councils warden call service 24 hours a day.
