Following the recent Government announcement (25 September), further restrictions have been imposed on certain areas (including Leeds). This means that family members, friends and volunteers will not be able to visit the care home. (Apart from in exceptional circumstances). If you have any queries, please contact the Care Manager who will be able to assist.

About the community
Bedford Court is a purpose-built integrated care community. It includes a choice of accommodation and level of support for people who:
- require the full services of a care home
- need a small amount of support to remain in their own home
- wish to plan ahead for the future.
Where is it?
Bedford Court is situated in the popular village of Horsforth to the north of Leeds. It is is within a short walk of an array of shops and amenities. It has good public transport links to Leeds city centre. It also benefits from being conveniently located next door to a GP practice.
Can I visit?
Yes, visitors are very welcome. It is advisable to telephone beforehand so that we can ensure that a member of staff is available. They will give you a tour and answer any questions you might have.

Accommodation at Bedford Court is spacious and modern, with a high-quality finish. It has been designed to the national Lifetime Homes standard. This means that the buildings are flexible to changing needs. They are wheelchair accessible and can easily accommodate aids and adaptations.
Olive Lodge – a registered residential care home. It has a choice of room sizes, all of which are en-suite and have a French door. This leads to a balcony or patio.
Phillips Close – ten two-bedroom cottages, each with private garden.
Communal facilities at Bedford Court include:
- dining room
- hairdressing facilities
- landscaped gardens.
Wi-Fi access is available in some of the communal areas.
Activities and events take place on a regular basis.
Care and support
Care and support is provided by a dedicated team of on-site carers. It is available 24 hours, seven days a week for people living in Olive Lodge. If you choose to live in Phillips Close, you can access low level support, such as home help.
Olive Lodge is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide residential care. This means it is subject to regulatory inspections. Details of the most recent inspection reports can be found by clicking on the CQC website link on this page.
Low-level support available at Phillips Close is not a CQC registered service.
Our services are relationship-centred. They focus on the importance of positive relationships between older people, relatives and staff. We take time to find out what is important to each individual. This helps us to provide them with services that best meet their needs.
