Rich joins JRHT with more than 20 years’ experience in property, asset management and strategic leadership across the Royal Air Force, NHS and housing sectors.
After serving nine years in the RAF, Rich moved into strategic property roles within the NHS while completing an MSc in Leadership and achieving Chartered Surveyor status with RICS. He later joined Anchor, where he led a nationwide review of more than 55,000 homes, helping to shape investment priorities and support long-term decision-making across the organisation.
Most recently, Rich has been Director of Asset Strategy at Thirteen Group, leading the strategic management of a diverse property portfolio of more than 36,000 homes. His focus has consistently been on helping organisations make informed investment decisions that balance financial sustainability with the needs of residents and communities.
Rich is passionate about providing safe, sustainable, high-quality homes and ensuring investment decisions support JRHT’s social purpose and long-term impact in York and beyond.
