Helen has over 30 years’ experience in housing strategy, delivery and investment gained during her career in the RP sector, central and local government. Having led Homes England’s Affordable Housing Growth team in the North of England during her 10-year career with the Agency, she joined Broadacres as Director of Development and Investment, delivering new homes and leading sustainable investment strategies to improve existing homes. She is a capable and experienced leader with a strong track record of delivery, with strong links to York and North Yorkshire.
Having recently taken a career break to travel and study, Helen joined the JRHT Board in 2025 and currently chairs the Development and Assets sub-committee to continue her contribution to supporting more and better affordable homes for people who need them.
