JRHT with Esh Construction are building 6 new and genuinely affordable 2 and 3 bed homes on Acacia Avenue, replacing the existing garage blocks. New homes will be a split between social rent (4) and shared ownership (2).
Once built, the homes will be accessed from Acacia Avenue. Parking for residents will be provided at the front of houses. The homes will be built to achieve high energy efficiency and standards. All homes include private gardens and external storage in the design.
Estimated Completion: Ready for occupation in 2028.

We have identified historical land rights. We are therefore working with legal advisers to carefully review the position.

- Legal review. We are assessing what impact those historical land rights may have in practice.
- Options review. We will consider what options are available.
- Decision-making. We will carefully review the findings before deciding on the best way forward but are committed to restoring the gardens to their former use.
- Sharing an update. Once this work is complete, we will provide a clear update on next steps and what this means for the community.
