The Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is a charity and registered social landlord.

As well as housing, we provide retirement care and support and care for adults with physical or learning difficulties.

Based in York, the JRHT operates in York, Yorkshire and the North East. We are part of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF).

Plaxton Court Plaxton Court, a brand new retirement housing community in Scarborough welcomes it's first residents. Aimed at enabling people aged 55 plus to remain independent, this innovative new development offers spacious modern housing, on-site social and leisure facilities and care and support for those people who need it.

Derwenthorpe Community Forum The next Derwenthorpe Community Forum Event will take place on Saturday 10th May at Burnholme Community College. The event will focus on the needs of Young People.

Derwenthorpe JRHT is very pleased that work on developing the Derwenthorpe community of environmentally-friendly family homes can now commence.
