Purchasers are reminded that purchasing will incur a number of expenses, such as solicitors' fees, land registry fees, search fees and mortgage survey/valuation fee.
A monthly service charge is due to the JRHT.
This is the leaseholder's contribution to the costs of services provided, which includes buildings insurance, JRHT's administrative costs and the Scheme Manager Service.
The payment will be reviewed on 1 July each year.

It is also advisable to ask for a copy of the Lease for yourself.
Each dwelling is separately metered and has individual gas and electric meters. Residents are responsible for their own charges.

The visiting Scheme Manager looks after the general welfare of residents by being available to help with queries and problems. They also help in the event of an alarm call or in the case of illness or other emergency. They cannot offer nursing services but will be able to provide information as to where these and any other services can be obtained. The right to privacy to every resident is respected.
Residents have the benefit of a direct link to a 24hr Central Control Warden Care Scheme, which will summon assistance as necessary.
