Working with residents to improve access to services

Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is committed to working with as many residents as possible to offer opportunities to shape the work we do, and the communities residents live in.

In April’s edition of the JRHT Enews, we mentioned that we were starting some important pieces of work within the organisation. Over the coming months, we will be asking residents, customers and our communities to provide invaluable input into these pieces of work, to ensure our services reflect what residents want and need from us.

Initially our focus will be on how easy it is for residents to access the services they need and expect JRHT to provide. We know from the conversations that we have had with residents already that people really value the ability to pick up the phone and speak to our customer access team, but we also know that increasingly people also want to have the option to access information and services digitally.

To understand this better, we have an online questionnaire we are asking residents to complete. It should only take five minutes and everyone who completes the questionnaire will be entered into a draw to win a £20 shopping voucher.

Please click this link to access the questionnaire.

In addition to the questionnaire, we will be running a small number of online focus groups with all participants receiving a £10 shopping voucher as a thank you for their time. If you are interested in taking part in one of these sessions or would just like to find out more, please contact [email protected].
