With the school summer holidays on the horizon, we’ve rounded up a quick and easy guide to keeping the kids entertained.

The Folk Hall, New Earswick is hosting some holiday activities each Thursday from 12pm until 2pm throughout the summer holidays. This is open to all, and places can be booked through the Folk Hall on 01904 769621.

Yor-Ok's Shine has full details of what’s on in York this summer including Ofsted registered holiday clubs, local activities and events. There is fun for all the family and activities to keep children and young people busy, throughout the school holidays.

Leeds City Council has a Healthy Holidays scheme on offer throughout the holidays which includes a fantastic range of clubs, activities and events for children eligible for free school meals. In Hartlepool, children who receive free school meals can get involved in Hartlepool Holiday Fun and North Yorkshire County Council are running FEAST sessions for the second year running, including multi-sports sessions, gaming workshops and cooking.
