Improving our online resident services

Over the last year we have been looking at how we can give residents more opportunities to access our services online. Last year a group of residents took part in some online focus groups which focused on how easy it was for people to report a problem or make a service request. These discussions have informed how we have taken this work forward and have led to several changes in our ‘back office’ systems and processes.

We are now moving into the next stage of this work and would love residents to be involved again this time. We are looking for a group of residents to take part in further group discussions to help us make decisions around a new digital housing system and website.

We know from our conversations with residents that many people value the ability to pick up the phone and speak to one of our Customer Access Team. But we also recognise that increasingly people also want to access services digitally, regularly shopping and banking online. Our ambition is to provide more ways for people to contact and engage with JRHT services online too.
