Following feedback from residents about the use of the Central Area as a compound for Phase 1 Road Remedials Work, Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) have explored a number of options for the compound location with some advice and input from David Wilson Homes. The compound will be used to store materials and equipment for the Phase 1 Road Remedials Work.
The 6 options explored are as shown on the information boards- which present the proposal, with the pros and cons for each option.
The JRHT preferred option for the Phase 1 Road Remediation work compound is OPTION 1: Community Car Park Compound via Osbaldwick.
Please note that the Central Area will still be needed to provide a compound for the planned raising of the road levels adjacent to Barron and Newman House. This fits in with the approach we are adopting, to whenever possible have compounds adjacent to the required area of work.
