My main responsibilities are:
- ensuring all our care services comply with legal, regulatory and contract requirements
- supporting the ongoing improvement in service quality
- leading the learning and development programme of the 500 staff within care services
- managing the marketing and information function within care services.
I have nine years' experience with JRHT in quality and compliance roles. Before I joined JRHT, I worked for 15 years within social services at North Yorkshire County Council. This included the development and implementation of quality assurance frameworks. I also project managed service improvement initiatives and the provision of information to customers. I have an MA in social policy.
I enjoy contact with residents and being part of improving the service they receive.
