I also ensure that the community’s services are delivered to the highest customer-focused standards. In conjunction with service managers, I am responsible for service development and service improvement. I focus on the specific requirements of Derwenthorpe residents. This includes repairs and maintenance and landscape maintenance.
I also support the Joseph Rowntree Foundation’s research into environmental performance/behaviours and digital inclusion/social media at Derwenthorpe. I am passionate about socially and environmentally sustainable housing and communities. I am proud to be a part of JRHT’s mission. We aim to provide excellent services to our customers by delivering best-practice services based on our cutting-edge research.
I work closely with Derwenthorpe residents. This ensures they are getting the most out of being a member of this vibrant community. Residents’ feedback and input into the housing and services we offer is a vital part of our work. It helps us to constantly improve the lifestyle and well-being of people in the community.

I have a NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Working in Adult Social Care. Previously I worked in housing at City of York Council for 12 years.
