We will encourage you to become involved and listen to
you.
We want all our residents to have the opportunity to participate
and be involved in the way we manage your homes and the services
you receive. It is important to us that you feel we listen to you
and take account of your views. It is also important that you do
not feel excluded from becoming involved because of your age,
gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality or faith. We will continue
to encourage involvement from a broad range of residents as
possible, in particular encouraging involvement from traditionally
hard to reach groups. We will continue to develop links with the
communities with which we work, supporting and facilitating
community events.
We will:
- offer a range of ways for you to participate and have your say,
including
- resident groups
- postal surveys
- focus groups
- Residents Editorial Panel
- Residents Consultation Panel
- Residents Federation
- produce news letters
- bi-annual residents' conference
- undertake a resident's survey every three years and surveys on
specific services when required
- advise those that took part of the outcome of consultation
- support new and existing residents groups; and give a minimum
of 10 days notice to residents' groups of proposed
meetings.
You will:
- let us know if you want to become more involved
- let us know what you think we could do to improve our
services
- respond to satisfaction surveys and other requests for your
views about the services you
receive
