We will provide an efficient and effective Housing
service.
Our priority is to create stable communities within which our
residents are empowered to sustain independent living at a level
and quality appropriate to their needs and wishes.
We will:
- offer support where appropriate and work in partnership with
other agencies when required
- respond to any breaches of tenancy within 5 working days or
earlier if the matter is more urgent
- respond to neighbour disputes within 1 working day or 5 days,
dependent upon the urgency of the dispute
- remove offensive graffiti or any other offensive material
within 1 working day and other graffiti within 5 working days
- respond to instances of harassment within 1 working day,
undertaking any emergency repairs or any additional security
measures within that time scale
- agree and deliver an action plan within 10 working days
- respond to complaints of anti social behaviour within one
working day or 5 working days dependent upon the urgency of the
incident
- we will write to everyone concerned within 5 working days of
receiving a formal complaint
- respond to complaints of racial harassment within 1 working
day
- respond to written requests from residents to carry out
improvements to their homes within 10 working days
- respond to requests from residents to install TV Aerials,
satellite dishes and cable TV within 15 working days
- respond to requests to work from home within 20 working
days
- remove abandoned cars from Trust land within 10 days and refer
other instances of abandoned cars to the relevant authority within
1 working day
- respond to requests for equipment and adaptations within 20
working days, or earlier if required more urgently; and
- enable you to see your personal records within 10 working days
of the receipt of the request.
You will;
- comply with the conditions of your tenancy agreement or lease
conditions
- act in a reasonable and considerate way to others and make
sure other members of your household and your visitors do the
same
- report incidents of anti social behaviour as soon as possible
to both the police and ourselves
- try and sort out minor neighbour disputes yourself
- ensure that you do not disturb your neighbours; and
- look after your property
