The scheme consists of 12 two-bedroomed flats in two,two storey buildings and three two-bedroomed bungalows. Each flat has gas-fired central heating and double glazed windows.

The scheme is linked via an intercom to central warden care services run by Scarborough Borough Council 24 hours a day. Also, a scheme manager will visit residents by agreement.

Residents can part- rent or part- buy (shared ownership). With shared ownership you can purchase 25%, 50%, 75%, 99% on a 99 year lease and pay a monthly rent on the remaining balance. The monthly rent is reviewed each July.

The percentage purchased will be agreed after a confidential financial assessment.

The lease for this scheme states that the properties are only available for people over the age of 55.
