Ideally a person should consider a move to Hartrigg Oaks when they are fit and healthy and in the early stages of retirement (sixties and early seventies). Applicants are subject to passing a Health and Care Check and submitting a financial statement.

In order to maintain a vibrant mixed community, a wide range of ages is encouraged. Although no upper age limit is set, priority is given to the youngest applicants. Therefore the younger somebody is when they apply to join Hartrigg Oaks, the greater the chances of success.

Priority is given to couples in the allocation of two bedroom bungalows.

We do not currently have any vacancies, but interested people can register their interest by joining the Hartrigg Oaks Mailing List. Once on the Mailing List they will be kept updated of developments and given the opportunity to apply to join the Reserve Lists, which are the shortlists for each of the four property types.  To request a full information pack or Mailing List application form contact:
