On joining Hartrigg Oaks, residents enter into a Care Agreement, which entitles them to receive care and support in the comfort of their own home for up to 21 hours per week, based on assessed needs.  This could include;

  • cleaning
  • laundry
  • shopping
  • garden maintenance
  • transport assistance

Personal care

  • dressing / undressing
  • bathing
  • medication
  • toileting

Pop in

  • emotional support
  • meal delivery

Respite care

  • Three to four rooms in The Oaks Care Centre are kept available to provide short-term residential or nursing respite care to bungalow residents, for example following a discharge from hospital or a period of illness.

Rehabilitation 

  • Personalised exercise programme

If a resident's individual requirements mean that a permanent move into The Oaks Care Centre is deemed appropriate, then this can be arranged following a full consultation and assessment period.
