High quality residential care and support is provided at Olive
Lodge, which comprises of 34 spacious single occupancy bed-sitting
rooms and four double apartments. Each room contains:
- en-suite washing facilities, including WC, washbasin and
shower
- french door opening up onto a balcony or patio
- two way intercom linked to care staff
- telephone and television points.
The four double apartments also contain a compact kitchen. In
addition, each room has its own front door with bell and letterbox,
to ensure that the resident's right to privacy is respected.
Residents are encouraged to furnish their room with their own
furniture in order to create a homely setting. Carpets and curtains
are provided.
Communal facilities include:
- well-equipped pantries to enable residents to make refreshments
or a light snack
- separate bathrooms and assisted bathing rooms
- conservatory overlooking pleasant gardens
- communal sitting/activity rooms
- dining room and lounge
- roof terrace
