Other fees

If you join Hartfields, you will pay an accommodation charge, click here to view the various options.

In addition, each household will pay the following weekly charges:

Management and Maintenance Charge - £17.60 per week
This covers the cost of external maintenance and repairs to your home. If you are renting, this fees will be included in your rent.

Service Charge - £32 per week
This charge will cover the cost of providing services such as cleaning of the communal areas; gardening / ground maintenance; repairs to the communal areas; external repairs and redecoration to the communal buildings; building insurance for all properties and communal TV system.

Support Charge of £21.75 per week
This charge will cover the cost of having a staff presence on site 24 hours a day / 7 days per week; management advice and general counselling and support. It does not cover the actual provision of personal care or support delivered as part of a care plan, which will be payable following receipt of services.

Fees are reviewed annually. The next review will take effect on 1 April 2009.

You are responsible for paying your own utility and telephone charges, contents insurance and Council Tax.
