Properties
at Hartfields are available for purchase, part-purchase (referred
to as shared-ownership) and rent. This means that there are
options available to suit various financial circumstances.
The prices for each property type are listed below. Note these are
based on properties with full balconies, prices for properties
without or with 'Juliette' balconies are available on
request:

On vacating your home at Hartfields, we will purchase back the
property at the prevailing market value and any re-sale surplus
will be shared on a 60-40 basis (60% retained by the Trust).
However, should sale values fall we guarantee that you will receive
the purchase price that you paid.
Each household will also pay a Management and Maintenance Charge of
£17.60 per week, Service Charge of £32 per week and a Support
Charge of £20.10 per week.
Shared Ownership based on 50-50 ownership (Lease and
Tenancy)

Cottage
£70,000 plus £35.10 weekly charge Apartment - two bedrooms

Each household will also pay a Management and Maintenance Charge of

It may also be possible to part-purchase a cottage or apartment
from 10 per cent up to a maximum of 90%, depending on your

Each household will also pay a Service Charge of £32 per week and a

Rents are set in accordance with the Tenant Services Authority
criteria for 'affordable housing'. This means that they will be
within the criteria for Housing Benefit, for those people who are
eligible to claim.
